ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE LEVYING TAXES FOR THE PERIOD OF
JULY 1, 1986, TO AND INCLUDING JUNE 30, 1987,
SUCH TAXES IN THE SUM OF $944,251 UPON ALL THE
REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY SUBJECT TO ASSESSMENT
AND LEVY WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF ASHLAND, JACKSON COUNTY, OREGON.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND, OREGON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby levies the taxes provided
for in the Budget in the aggregate amount of $944,251 and that these
taxes are levied and assessed prorata upon all taxable property within
the City of Ashland as of 1:00 a.m., July 1, 1986.
SECTION 2. That the City Council hereby declares that the taxes so
levied are applicable to the following funds:
General $322,332
Cemetery 49,467
Band 18,630
Parks 538,602
Recreation 15,220
SECTION 3. That the City Recorder is hereby directed to file, not
later than the 15th day of July, 1986, with the County Assessor of
Jackson County, Oregon, the tax levy approved by this Ordinance.
The foregoing Ordinance was first read on the 02*/~-A day
