This survey takes a strip of laud 8 feet wide at the west boundary line of Donation claim No. 40, and 16 feet wide on gain street, belonging to Hendershott; and a strip of land S feet wide at the claim line, and noth- ing on Main street, from lot belonging to Dollarhide, thus changing the 16-feet alley now existing into a 40-foot street. By order of the Council of the City of Ash- land, Jackson county, State of Oregou. Dated this 5th day of September, 1888. A. P. HAMMOND, City Recorder.
