ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE WITH
RESPECT TO THE DEMOLITION OF HISTORIC STRUCTURES.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Subsection D. 5) of Section 15.04.210 of the
Ashland Municipal Code and Ordinance No. 2163 are hereby
amended to read as follows:
115) Any property owner may request that his/her structure
be added or excluded from the list by filing a
written notice with the City Council ten (10) days
prior to the hearing. Such notice shall include
documentation by the owner supporting the request for
inclusion or deletion. Criteria to be considered by
the Council concerning the request shall include, but
not be limited to the following:
a) Age of the structure.
b) Architectural or historic heritage of the
structure."
The foregoing Ordinance was first read on the 20th day of
October, 1987 and duly PASSED and ADOPTED this 3-1W day of
1987.
