ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND WITHDRAWING
CERTAIN RECENTLY ANNEXED REAL PROPERTY FROM JACKSON
COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT NO. 5 (REEDER ANNEXATION)
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The land described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
situated in the City of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon is
hereby withdrawn from Jackson County Fire District No. 5
pursuant to the provisions of ORS 222.524.
SECTION 2. The City of Ashland elects to pay the bonds of the
Special Taxing Districts pursuant to the provisions of ORS
222.520(2)(6).
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the 17th day of
November, 1987 and duly PASSED and ADOPTED this .tY day of
December, 1987.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
.A parcel or tract of land situated in the Southeast Quarter of
Section 15, Township 39 South, Range 1 East, Willamette Meridian,
Jackson County, Oregon, more fully described:
Commencing at a 2 1/2 inch diameter brass disk monumenting the
Southeast corner of Donation Land Claim Number 45, Township 39
South, Range 1 East, Willamette Meridian, Jackson County, Oregon;
thence South 1553.49 feet; thence West 387.81 feet to a 5/8 inch
iron pin situated on the southerly right of way of Peachy Road as
established by the instrument recorded in Volume 18, Pages 577
and 578 of the Jackson County Commissioner's Journal, 1923, and
the True Point of Beginning; thence, leaving said southerly right
of way, North 00° 19' 31" East 40.00 feet (Deed Record North) to
a point situated on the northerly right of way of said Peachy
Road; thence, along said right of way, North 89° 49' 34" West
183.48 (Deed Record West); thence, leaving said northerly right
of way, South 00° 19' 31" West 40.00 feet (Deed Record South) to
a. 5/8 inch iron pin situated on the southerly right of way of
said Peachy Road; thence, leaving said right of way, South 00°
19' 31" West 552.41 feet (Deed Record South 554.0 feet) to a 5/8
inch iron pin situated on the northerly right of way of Bristol
Street; thence, along said right of way, South 89° 49' 34" East
183.48 feet (Deed Record East) to a 5/8 inch iron pin; thence,
leaving said right of way, North 00° 19' 31" East 552.41 feet
Geed Record North 554.0 feet to the True Point of Beginning.
Said parcel contains 2.495 acres.
