AN ORDINANCE LEVYING TAXES FOR THE PERIOD OF
JULY 1, 1988, TO AN INCLUDING JUNE 30, 1989,
SUCH TAXES IN THE SUM OF $1,194,925 UPON ALL THE
REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY SUBJECT TO ASSESSMENT
AND LEVY WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF ASHLAND, JACKSON COUNTY, OREGON
V&
THE PEOPLE OF ASHLAND, OREGON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Ashland
hereby levies the taxes provided for in the adopted budget
in the aggregate amount of $1,194,925 and that these taxes
are hereby levied upon the assessed value as of 1 a.m.
January 1, 1988, on all taxable property within the City.
Section 2., That the City Council hereby declares that the
taxes so levied are applicable to the following funds:
General Fund $ 362,325
Cemetery Fund 59,800
Band Fund 270,600
Parks and Recreation 584,200
Recreation 18,400
Police Department Serial Levy 128,800
Fire Department Serial Levy 13,800
$ 1,194,925
The foregoing Ordinance was first read on the -2~jk day of
June, 1988 and duly PASSED and ADOPTED this ,"/,ai-day of
June, 1988.
