ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND WITHDRAWING
CERTAIN RECENTLY ANNEXED REAL PROPERTY FROM JACKSON
COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT NO. 5 (OLSON ANNEXATION)
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The land described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
situated in the City of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon is
hereby withdrawn from Jackson County Fire District No. 5
pursuant to the provisions of ORS 222.524.
SECTION 2. The City of Ashland elects to pay the bonds of the
Special Taxing Districts pursuant to the provisions of ORS
222.520(2)(6).
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the 'day of
August, 1988 and duly PASSED and ADOPTED this day of
1988.

Exhibit 'A'
Commencing at the inside Ell corner of Donation Land Claim No. 53 in
Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette Meridian, Jackson
County, Oregon, thence South 00°22'00" West, 7.50 feet (deed record South
7.50 feet) to a 3/4 inch iron pin located on the'Southeasterly right,.of
way line of Dead Indian Road for the True Point of Beginning; thence along
said Southeasterly right of way line, South 57°04'00" West, 100.00 feet
(deed record South 56°42' West, 100.00 feet) to a 3/4 inch iron pin;
thence South 25°28'16" West, 100.86 feet (deed record South 24°06' West,
100.8 feet) to a 3/4 inch iron pin; thence South 51°38'02" East, 448.29
feet (deed record South 52°21' East, 448.40 feet) to a 3/4 inch iron pin;
thence South 03°20'10" East, 45.97 feet-(deed record South 04°06' East,
46.25 feet) to a found 1/2 inch iron pipe; thence South 68°36'25" East,
300.60 feet (deed record South 68°23' East, 297.40 feet) to a 3/4 inch
iron pin located on the Westerly boundary line of that parcel of land as
described in Volume 459 Page 299 of the Deed Records of Jackson County,
Oregon; thence along said Westerly boundary line, North 08°38'00" West,
641.35 feet (deed record North 09°00' West) to a 3/4 inch iron pin located
in Neil Creek; thence North 89°38'00" West, 380.17 feet (deed record West)
to a 3/4 inch iron pin located on the Easterly right of way line of Dead
Indian Road; thence along said Easterly right of way South 00°17'25" West,
37.80 feet to a 3/4 inch iron pin; thence South 57°04'00" West, 35.87 feet
to the point of beginning, containing 5.458 acres more or less.
Also including those sections of public right of way described as follow:
Commencing at the Ell corner of Donation Land Claim No. 53 in Township 39
South, Range 1 East of the Willamette Meridian, Jackson County, Oregon;
thence South 00°22'00" West, 7.50 feet to a 3/4 inch iron pin located on
the Southeasterly right of way line of Dead Indian Road for the True Point
of Beginning; thence along said Southeasterly right of way line, South 57°
04100" West, 100.00 feet to a 3/4" iron pin; thence South 25°28'16" West,
241.24 feet (deed record South 24°05' West, 241.24 feet) to the
Northeasterly right of way line of State Highway No. 66; thence South 51°
16' West, 60.00 feet to the Southwesterly right of way line of said
highway; thence along said right of way line North 38044' West to the
West, Northwest line of said Donation Land Claim No. 53; thence along said
line East 76.92 feet to the intersection of the Northeasterly right of way
of Highway No. 66 with the Northerly right of way of Dead Indian Road;
thence Easterly and Northerly along the right of way line of Dead Indian
Road to a point which lies North 89°38'00" West of a 3/4 inch iron pin
monumenting the Northwest corner of that tract of land as shown on
Recorded Survey No. 8263; thence South 89°38'00" East to said 3/4 inch
iron pin located on the Easterly right of way line of Dead Indian Road;
thence along said right of way line, South 00-°17'25" West, 37.80 feet to a
3/4 inch iron pin; thence South 57°04'00" West, 35.87 feet to the point of
beginning.
