State of Oregon, for and in consideration of the sum of

whereof is hereby acknowledged, have _granted, sold and quit-claimed, and by these presents do grant, sell
and quit-claim unto the said City and to its successors forever, the right of wag, over, upon, across and
through the following described premises, situate and being in Jackson county, State of Oregon, to-wit:

To have and to hold the same unto the said City for the purpose of laying thereon and forever maintaining

thereon iron pipes or flumes or other conduits of water beneath the surface of the ground, which wipes,

of eater-works constructed, or to be constructed, for the use of said City and its inhabitants.
