To the Hon. ALyo r and Cor!~mon Council of the City of Ashlar~.cs., 0reE;oi-. Gentler!ien Tire matter of the extension of Bush street and -,,h.onnecting the same with Woolen street was recently referred to the street cCor ittee. And now ilire respectfully report a s fol.to-I,IiT we find that by decd of T., A. Patrick and others, made, Oct. 19th, 1395. accepted by the Council at regular meeting in November 1895 and Pecoreted Nov. 7th, 1895, Vol. 29, pages 629 & 63o, There was deeded to the city an exten_ki on of Bush street of full width to a point 30 feet southerly, fro mthe S. E. corner of Block owned by E. D. Brig-Fs and also a street :30 feet wide from the end of Bush street extending along and above the Brigs block, hill. vineyard, Patrick lot to Manx-vita street. That the ' t sty e?t has been in use or a portion of at for rr.any yea-1;s, That the upper and southerly pwi,ion of the dedi- cated street has always been in fruit trees along the line of the Gibson orchard. That all that is necessary to be done is to S order the street cor_sioner to clear out the trees and remove the trec,s 4'rl-iich now obstruct travel . We note that the turn connecting the Binh street extension and the 30 fte street which was dedicated as Prospect Avenue is rather steep and it rnakes a di - icu It turn, we have talked with Mr. Briggs and he e says he is u-illing to cut, the corner at the angle of Bush stye't, F and Prosoect Avenue 20 feet on Bush and 2" feet on Prosl,.ect Ave. Providecj , the corner of the Gibson land lying on the angle betviie: tween Bush and Miley street be cut to take a like amount of la land. Respectfully s u bmitted S ep.t . 8, 1906.
