ADDENDUM TO THE AGREEMENT
Between
Ashland Police Department, Jackson County through its Sheriff's Office and the Jackson County Sexual Assault
Team
This addendum modifies the Agreement between the Ashland Police Department (APD), the Jackson County
Sheriffs Office (JCSO) and the Jackson County Sexual Assault Response Team (JCSART) that was authorized by the
Ashland City Council on March 17, 2015 and ratified by Jackson County and JCSART subsequent to that.
This addendum modifies only one section of the Agreement in the following manner:
1. Responsibility for accounting services, including collection of class registration fees, and disbursements of
funds for You Have Options Program (YHOP) related costs, will be transferred to JCSART.
2. JCSART will establish a bank account that will be used exclusively for this reason.
3. This account will be used in a manner consistent with the direction of the YHOP Executive Board.
4. This account will be subject to periodic review by a competent person chosen by the YHOP Board.
5. The City of Ashland will transfer money currently held in its accounts under City of Ashland project
number 000441999 and 000441300 to the designated JCSART in a manner that allows all obligations to be
met as the invoices are turned in to either the City of Ashland or JCSART.
6. All future registration fees will be directed to the JCSART account.
7. After all obligations are met, the City of Ashland account will be closed.
8. Detective Carrie Hull's pay and benefits, including overtime covered by a grant will remain the
responsibility of the City of Ashland.
