STREET DEDICATION.
THIS INDENTURE 7NITNESSETH: That we, T. J.Downing and Selina J.
Downing, husband and wife, of the City of rT,'ugene , Count' of Land, and
State of Oregon, for and in consideration of the sign of One (~1000)
Dollar and benefits to accrue, have bargained and sold, and by these
presents do grant, donate and dedicate unto the City of Ashland, a
municipal corporation of Jackson Cov&nty, Or. e~;on, created by the Aot
of the Legislative Asserdbly of said-Mate , the following strip of land
to be used for street purposes only, being situated and located in
the City of a1.shland, County of Jackson and State of Oregon, and dese-
ribed as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at a point, 414 ,foe t North of the 5otitneast corner of
Don,atior jancl Clain 17o. 39 in Township 39 youth of Range 1 Fast of the
Willamette :°ericlian, Ore, on: thence runninC West parallel with the
South line of said Donation Land Claim TTo.39 a distance of 10.36 Q ai
more or less, to the 'Vest line of the "Georgo Tract", so callecl : thence
north parallel with the East line of said Donation Lend Claim Fo.39 a
distance of 50 feet: thence Past parallel with the South line of said
'Donation land Clt%in -To.39 a distance of 10.36 chains, more or legs to
the East line thereof: thence South on the East boundary of said Claim
50 feet to the place of beginning, -aid btrip of land to be known and
designated as "Quincy Street"
