THIS INDENTURE ,"ITI ESSET:i: That we, S.F.Deeker and Cora B. Deeper,
husband and wife, of the City of Ashland, County of Jackson and State of
Oregon, for and in consideration of the sure of One (,'.-~1.00) Dollar and
benefits to accrue, have bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant,
donate and dedicate unto the City of Ashland, a mAnicipal corporation of
Jackson County, Oregon, created by the ..met of the ?legislative Assembl-7 of
said State, the following strip of land to be used for street PIu71)0$e8 only
being situated and located in the Cit r of Ashland, County of Jackson and -
State of Oregon, and described as follows, to-:vit:
Beginning at a point 185 V2 feet ;jest of the Sonthi►vest corner of
4hat certain tract of-land heretofore -tn the 22nd da.iT of February A.D.190_6*
conveyed by T.J.Downing at, nx., to the grantors herein, the deed to whidT'
is of record in Vol. 54 page 484 deed records of Jackson Count-~T, Ore' on:
froze said point running North parallel to the Fast line of Donation Land
Claim No.39 in Township 39 South of Range 1 Fast of the 77.111. a distance of
414 feet to the South line of Quincy Street, so called, thence East along
oaid street 50 feet: thence South parallel to the first line hereof 414
feet to the South line of said Donation Land Claim: thence 'Test along said
South line 50 feet to the place of beginning, said strip of land to be
known and designated as "California Street
TO M'iV ; ADD TO HOLD said premises with their appurtenances unto the
said City of Ashland, a Mi nicipal corporation, for street purposes onl-lr
and if abandoned for said street purposes to revert to said grantors, their
heirs, assigns, or successors in interest forever.

a Notary Public in and for said County and State, the within named S.E.
Decker and Cora B. Decker, husband and wife of the City of Ashland, Oregon,
to me personally known to be the identical persons described in and who
executed the within and foregoing; deed of dedication, and they severally
acknowledged to me that they executed the same freely for the uses and
purposes therein mentioned.
