NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN

City of Ashland, Oregon, the manor thereof concurring, that the owner or owners of the following de-
scribed real estate, to-tvit:-

WHEREAS it is desired to commence work on the construction

of the Macadam pavement improvement of "A"'Streat as heretofore
projected and ordered by this council, with the least practicable
delay, and in view of the lateness of the season the laying of
the sidewalk abutting on such Macadam pavement improvement should.
be commenced at an early date, it is the judgment of the Common

Council that an emergency exists and it is necessary for the pub--

r lie safety, peace and health of the people of the City of Ashland

that this resolution shall become immediately operative.

THEREFORE, this resolution shall take effect and be in force
Immediately upon its adoption by the Council and approval by the
