The council next prooeeded to consider a proposed ordinance entitled "Ordinance

requiring a permit in certain cases; declaring the purpose of this ordinance; and fixing
$ penalty for the viol~~tion hsr°c~~if.'T The ordinance having been read the first time,
on motion, the rules tiere suspended, six voting in favor thereof, ~:end t'rle ordinance ,rugs
passed to the second reading. Havi~lg 'Dean react the second time, roll csll ~,~~as ordered
on its ~:tidoption. The vote r°rss as follo~r~s : a~~yes Bergner, Blake, Claycomb, Mersey, Tayler, ~~enner; nays none.

The matter of granting the Cheses F~-ctory the use of the Fourth Strut Fire Station
Building ti~a«s c]_iscL_ssed. The Council ~~ecided to grant the I+'~~ctary the use of said building
for a ~leriod of ten years vrith the privilege of rene~v~.l.
On motion of Claycomb seconded by Blake tl~e „mayor authorized to vecure a timber cruiser to n~~ake an estimate of the amount of timber in the ';~rtin

~Frire fencing and such other articles that ~'~~ill not be needed at the Airport grounds, also

On motion the ,'=-Layor was authorized to lea-:e the unused portion of the Airport
Ground for a period not exceedinUone year.
