The council next prooeeded to consider a proposed ordinance entitled "Ordinance ~ F , • ~ • n ~ ~ ~ T ~ ~-',~in the Cit~r of "~shland• prescribing tiie coral ~•ion,~ un"~r ~•,r~ich lo~v1~; may oe Sept 1~mi 1 , requiring a permit in certain cases; declaring the purpose of this ordinance; and fixing $ penalty for the viol~~tion hsr°c~~if.'T The ordinance having been read the first time, on motion, the rules tiere suspended, six voting in favor thereof, ~:end t'rle ordinance ,rugs passed to the second reading. On motion of Claycomb seconded by Blake tl~e „mayor authorized to vecure a timber cruiser to n~~ake an estimate of the amount of timber in the ';~rtin Tract Urhich is available z"or 'r market. l:roved by Bergner seconded b~~ C1<ycomb th~~t the l~~ayor be authorized to dispose of ~Frire fencing and such other articles that ~'~~ill not be needed at the Airport grounds, also that he be granted authority to proceed r~~ith the completion of one runtid~ay.
