He asked that provision be mane for by the electris'al inspectors of Ashland. No action was taken. by the council. a ain discussed the matter~of fixing a water rate for gas refrigerators. The council g The y`Vater Supt. was instructed to install a gas refrigerator if pnssible and to meter the same in order to ascertain the amount of water used in a wont . Councilman ~<<Jenner brought up the matter of leasing the septic tank tract to J. A. Hendrix. He stated that T!s. Hendrix would rebuild the fence for a three years lease of the land. It was moved by ~`aenner seconded by Hersey that the City Attorney { be instructed to prepare a contract between the City and Ts. Hendrix and to notify Broil that his uerbal contract will terminate on Sept. 1st. Carried. r r ~ Free lights and v~ater were granted. the fallowing named persons to July 1, 1931: J. B. Sweet Quincy St. Trioved by Bergner seconded by Blake that the Recorder be instructed to transfer X1500 from the Elec uric Eight Fund to Sewer District IIo. 35 Fund as a loan. and that the Recordor be instruc~~ed to pay the contractor when the City Engineer shall have filed notice that the bill is correct. The council next proceeded to consider a proposed city ordinance entitled "Ordinance 4 nd in the matter of laying a sewer in authorizing the issuance of a Cit y Improvement Bo what has been designated as Server District IIo. 31." The council next proceeded to consider a proposee city ordinance wntitled "Ordinance authorizin the issuance of a City Improvement Bonds in the matter of laying a sewer in g 32 " The ordinance having been read . what has been designated as Sev<<er District Tdo. the first time, on motion, the rules were suspended, four voting in favor thereof, and the ordinance tivas passed to the second reading. Having been reed the second time, roll Ip call was ordered on its adoption. the vote was as follows: Ayes Bergner, Blake, Hersey, 1ienner; nays none. Thereupon the T~~Iayor declared City Ordinance No. 892 adopted. The council next proceeded to consider a proposed city ordinance entitled " Ordinance authorizing the issuance of a City Improveme~lt bond in the matter of laying ^ a sewer in vrhat has been designated as Se~frer District No. 33." The ordinance having the rules vrere suspended, four voting in favor been read the first times on motion, thereof, and the ordinance was passed to the second reading. Having been read the ~ second time, roll call way ordered on its adoption.
