The City Attorney reported that the Committee appointed to investigate the com- plaint of Ir. and 7~rs. 1.°'~ahlsteh and others found there was no nuisance so far as the cow at wl5 Gresham Street tiaas concern~.~d. Ilot}never, the Committee recommended that the Council cause the removal of the spite fence on the ground that it constitutes ~ nuisance. Moved by 'r~ienner seconded by Tayler that ~,l~.e report of the Committee be accepted i and action be taken as recommended. The council next proceeded to consider a proposed city ordinance entitled "Orlin- once authorizing the issuance of City Im,~rovement Bond in the matter of laying a side- walk in Smdeuralk J7istrict Igo. J.1~ The ordinance having been read the first time, on ~ motion, the rules were suspended, six voting in favor thereof, and the ordinance was passed to the second reading.
