Present: Mayor ~~iley, Council~len Applevahite, B1aK:e, Gregg, a~enner. Absent: Ingle and Hansen. In the absence of the Pecorder, the ~ia~ror appointed FranK; fan Dyke acting Recorder to keep the minutes. sr. Hill reporter that P~`1A had approved the ®id submitted by Dunn Ds,t:er of Klamath Falls, and had aut~~lorized the City of ~shlarad to enter into a contract y~aith the firm of Dunn ~ 3aker. I~Kayor ~7iley and Dorothy Chapple, DeK~uttj 1~?ecorder, executed the nece:,sary contracts and signed the plans and specifications for t~.~e sewage treatr-lent plant and intercepting; se~~ers. Sills in the total amount of ~I2.75 having ~~een approved by the City superintendent and Finance Comcr~ittee, °~ere presented. It was moved by Gregg and recorded by Applewhito that the bills be allowed and warrants ~e Brawn for the pa`rn~ent thereof ire the several amounts. Mayor ~~~iley brought up the suo j ect of the hearirl~; Yr~lic~~ had 'seen set for the evening of December 1~, 1935, for i~sr. Adams, the Recorder, stating that Itilr. Adams was now sick and would not be able to attend the ~~earing upon tree date set. (Filing cabinet nn wheels}, for use in the ?ecoi°der's office, it having been determined that the State Superintendent of banns did not wish to sell the used equipment of the Citizens Bank, which had been contemplated being purchased ray the City. fir. Limner of the Pacific stationery 4~nd Printing Company was present and quotes prices and gave illustrations of the equipment as recommended by ~~r. ~`lhiting. Biegel, that 1-:iss I,osher desired the downstairs rooms at the Hosiaital re-plastered anc calci;~ined, and other repairs made. K~oved by Hansen seconded by ~o'dennQr that the City superintendent attend to the matter of the hospital repairs. ~biotion carried. `.t 4ir. Siegel brought up the subject of a fire door fc~r the furnace room at the hospital, stating tho.t he had received a letter from the State Fire Marshall concerning same. This matter was left for the City superintendent to act upon. The matter of the renewal of the beer license of H. R, ~ A. ~T. Brower doing business as the Bohemian Club was brought up. It ~~aas moved by Blake, seconded by Ingle that said licenses a be renewed, motion carried. A bill was read from ~~~r~~. Laing for a balance due upon the heating contract for the hospital of X30.35. l~~oved by Blare and seconded by Appleti~'hite that the bill be allowed and ordered paid, motion carried.
