AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF SPRING CREEK DRIVE NEAR
ITS WESTERLY TERMINUS SUBJECT TO DEDICATION OF LAND FOR A
CUL-DE-SAC.
WHEREAS, Notice of the Public Hearing on the proposed vacation of a
portion of Spring Creek Drive has been given in accord with the
provisions of Chapter 271 of the Oregon Revised Statutes.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Subject to the provisions in Section 2 hereof, it is
determined that the public interest will be best served by the
vacation of the portion of Spring Creek Drive located in the City of
Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon, more particular described as set
forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. The street located on the land described above shall be
vacated upon the recording of the final plat of Greensprings
Subdivision, Unit III which includes the dedication of a proposed cul-
de-sac near its westerly terminus.
The foregoing ordinance was first read by title only in accordance
with Article X, Section 2(C) of the City Charter on the .~ day of

TO BE VACATED BY CITY OF ASHLAND
A tract of land, being a portion of Donation Land Claim Number 52, Section 14,
Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette Meridian, Jackson County,
Oregon, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the West Line of said Donation Land Claim Number 52,
from which the Northeast Corner of said Section 14 bears North 44°10'08"
East, 1214.64 feet, said point also being on the northerly right-of-way line of
Spring Creek Drive as shown on the plat of Greensprings Subdivision, Extension
No. 1, Jackson County, Oregon, and from which a 5/8" iron pin, which is
considered a witness corner to this point, bears West, 0.34 feet; thence along
said right-of-way, North 89°59'10" East, 59.71 feet to a 5/8" iron pin;
thence, continuing along said right-of-way, 77.01 feet along a non-tangent
curve to the left having a radius of 30.00 feet, a central angle of
147004'09" and a long chord which bears South 73°31'54" East, 57.54 feet to
a 5/8" iron pin; thence South 32°54'04" West, 86.24 feet; thence 44.83 feet
alRng a curve to the right having a radius of 45.00 feet, a central angle of
