RESOLUTION NO. 2019-06

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SIGNATURES, INCLUDING
3 FACSIMILLE SIGNATURES, FOR BANKING SERVICES ON BEHALF
4 OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND
5 THE CITY OF ASHLAND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 Section 1. The following person are authorized to sign on behalf of the city, orders
for payment or withdrawal of money:
' John Stromberg—Mayor
8 Mike Gardiner—Parks Commission Chair
Melissa Huhtala—City Recorder
9 Kelly Madding—City Administrator
10 Bryn Morrison—Administrative Services Manager
11 Limited Duration(not to exceed past May 31St, 2019):
Mark Welch—Administrative/Finance Director
12 All prior authorizations are superseded.
13 Section 2. Any designated depository("Bank") of the City of Ashland is authorized and
14 directed to honor and pay any checks, drafts, or other orders for payment of money withdrawing
funds from any account of the city when bearing or purporting to bear the facsimile signatures of
15 the person listed in Section One of this resolution whether such facsimile signatures are made by
stamp, machine, or other mechanical device. The Bank is authorized and directed to honor and
16 to charge the city for such checks, drafts or other orders for the payment of money, regardless of
17 how or by whom such actual or purported facsimile signatures were made,provided they
resemble the facsimile signatures duly certified to and filed with the Bank by the City.
18 Section 3. This resolution was duly PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of May 2019, and
19 takes effect upon signing by the Mayor.
