HomeMy WebLinkAbout2019-21 Adopting a Supplemental Budget Page 1 of 2 RESOLUTION NO. 2019-21 1 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET 2 FOR CHANGES TO THE 2017/19 BIENNIAL BUDGET 3 Recitals: 4 ORS 294.471 permits the governing body of a municipality to make a supplemental budget for one or more of the following reasons: 5 a. An occurrence or condition which had not been ascertained at the time of the preparation of a 6 budget for the current year which requires a change in financial planning. 7 b. A pressing necessity which was not foreseen at the time of the preparation of the budget for the current year which requires prompt action. 8 c. Funds were made available by another unit of federal, state or local government and the 9 availability of such funds could not have been ascertained at the time of the preparation of the budget for the current year. 10 THE CITY OF ASHLAND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: 11 Section 1. In accordance with provisions stated above, the Mayor and City Council of the City 12 of Ashland determine that it is necessary to adopt a supplemental budget, establishing the following amendments: 13 Transfers: 14 Appropriation Resource 15 Central Services Fund Administrative Services 165,000 16 Public Works 10,000 17 Contingency 175,000 $ 175,000 $ 175,000 18 Insurance Services Fund Personnel Services 60,000 19 Capital Outlay 60,000 20 60,000 $ 60,000 21 Additional appropriations: Appropriation Resource 22 23 Debt Service Payment Debt Service Payment 162,000 24 Interest on Investment 2,000 Transfers In 160,000 25 $ 162,000 $ 160,000 26 Insurance Services Fund Transfer Out 25,000 27 Interest on Investment 25,000 28 $ 25,000 $ 25,000 Resolution No.2019-21 Page 1 of 2 Page 2 of 2 1 Section 2. All other provisions of the adopted 2017-2019 BIENNIUM BUDGET not 2 specifically amended or revised in this Supplemental Budget remain in full force and effect as stated therein. 3 4 Section 3.
