The first is signed by William G. Carter for himself, quitclaiming any interest in the disputed strip. The second is executed by William G. Carter as attorney-in-fact for his brother Robert. These deeds were each recorded February 7, 2000. The Default Order and Decree Quieting Title have been before Judge Arnold since January 26th. His Judicial Secretary, upon several inquiries (the last one being Monday morning) indicated that the Judge has been very "busy" and that he'll hopefully get to those papers this week. This instrument will not allow use of the property described in this instrument in violation of applicable land use laws and regulations. Before signing or accepting this instrument, the person acquiring the fee title to the property should check with the appropriate city or county planning department to verify approved uses.
