A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR
THE ASHLAND SOLAR POWER PROGRAM THROUGH
THE OREGON OFFICE OF ENERGY SMALL SCALE
ENERGY LOAN PROGRAM (SELP)
Recitals:
A. The application for loan funds from SELP requires a resolution of the city
council authorizing the application, the borrowing of the money and the budgeting of the
loan payments.
B. This resolution is adopted for the purpose of satisfying the above
requirements for the SELP.
THE CITY OF ASHLAND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of Ashland is authorized to apply for a SELP loan for the Ashland
Solar Power Program and to borrow money from SELP for this purpose. The source of
repayment for the loan shall be identified in the loan documents in such a manner to
ensure that the city's debt limitation is not exceeded.
SECTION 2. The City of Ashland will budget for the loan repayment through its budget
process.
SECTION 3. The city administrator is authorized to sign all documents necessary for
the application and loan agreement on behalf of the city.
This resolution was read by title only in accordance with Ashland Municipal Code
§2.04.090 duly PASSED and ADOPTED this ? day of ~
