HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-0306 SPECIALMINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING ASHLAND CITY COUNCIL MARCH 6, 1972 A special meeting of the Ashland City Council was called to order by Mayor Charles McKeen at 1:30 p.m. on the above date in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Ashland. The Mayor and Council members were present, except McCannon. The Mayor read the abstract of votes as certified by the City Recorder. This abstract showed that, on Ballot Measure No. 72, "Repeal of Ordinance No. 1706", there were 999 "YES" votes and 1,575 "NO" votes, for a total vote of 2,574. Councilman Conklin moved that the abstract of votes be accepted and that the Mayor be instructed to sign the Proclamation. Motion seconded by Councilwoman Soderberg. On roll call vote, passed unanimously. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:40 p.m., subject to the call of the Mayor. Respectfully submitted, ~Joseph M.
