Dear Paul:
This is to memorialize our agreement, whereby the City of Ashland
has retained my services and those of Kamis, Crew, Corrigan & Bachrach in
connection with the acquisition, including condemnation trial if necessary,
of the new fire station site.
My rate is $200 per hour, with any other work done by the firm to
be at standard rates. The scope of the work is understood to include
preparation and trial of the case (either alone, or with you if you would
wish, in which case I would serve as lead trial counsel), together with
handling negotiations and/or other aspects of the case as you may direct.
