BETWEEN LITHIA WAY AND CALIFORNIA STREET AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR
VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Parking is hereby prohibited on the south side
of East Main Street between Lithia Way and California Street.
SECTION 2. It shall be rebuttably presumed that the
registered owner of a vehicle which is parked in violation of the.
provisions of this Ordinance was parked by the registered owner thereof.
SECTION 3. The penalty shall be as provided in the Ashland
Municipal Code, Section 11.28.110.
SECTION 4. The Director of Public Works is hereby instructed
and requested to remove all existing "No Parking Zones" on the north
side of East Main Street between Fifth Street and California Street
with the exception of the first two spaces immediately east of Fifth
Street and, further, all other traffic controls on East Main between
Lithia Way and California Street remain as presently marked.
