AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.27.050 OF THE
ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE RELATIVE TO THE CITIZENS
PLANNING ADVISORY COMMITTEE
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 1959 and Section 2,27.050 of the
Ashland Municipal Code shall be amended to read as follows:
"2.27,050 Notification and Meetings. Meetings of the
CCI and CPAC are open to the public for their partici-
pation. Meetings shall be advertised at least ten
days in advance by publication in a newspaper of gen-
eral circulation. l~nere possible, notice of CPAC
meetings shall be included in Planning Commission public
notice to affected property owners, Said notice shall
state the time and place of meetings and subjects to be
discussed. Committee members shall receive personal
notice by mail sent at least seven (7) days in advance
of meetings,
Regular meetings of the CCI shall be held on the second
Thursday of each January, April, July and October.
Special meetings may be called at the request of the
Chairperson.
Regular meetings of the CPAC shall be held on the Thurs-
day before the first Planning Commission meeting of each
month. Special meetings may be called at the request of
the Chairperson. The CPAC shall evaluate any Planning
Commission agenda items upon which it chooses to make
comment at the regular meeting. The CPAC recommendation
shall be conveyed to the Planning Commission at its meet-
ing the following W'ednesday. Failure to act upon an applica-
tion at the Thursday meeting shall constitute no comment
on the application as submitted, in order not to delay
Commission consideration."
Th foregoing Ordinance was first read on the .~-z~ day of
