AN 'ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND ANNEXING
A CONTIGUOUS AREA TO THE CITY OF ASHLAND, ORE-
GON. [Ashland Hills Annexation No. Z)
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following described real property is
contiguous to the City of Ashland and is located in Jackson
County, Oregon, and is hereby annexed to the City of Ashland;
The North half of Lot 10, Section 11, Township 3g
South, Range 1 East, Willamette }~eridian, Jackson
County, Oregon.
ALSO: All that portion of Lot 9, Section 11, Town-
s~'~'39 South, Range 1 East, Willamette Meridian,
Jackson County, Oregon, lying Southerly of the County
Road, running through said lot.
EXCEPTING THEREFRO~ the following: Beginning at
the Northwest corner of Lot 9, Section 11, Town-
ship 39 South, Range 1 East, Willamette Meridian,
Jackson County, Oregon; thence South, along the
West line of said lot, 330.0 feet; thence North 66°
00' East, 262,30 feet, to the center of the County
Road; thence along said road line, North 27°24'
West, 136.0 feet; thence North 41°43' West, 107.0
feet; thence North S1°14~ ~est, 36.24 feet, to
the North line of said lot; thence West, along
said North line, 79.04 feet, to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 2, The City Recorder, in accord with. 0RS222.170,
is hereby ~uthorized and directed to make and submit to the
Secretary of State of the State of Oregon, a copy of this Ord-
inance, a copy of the Statement of Cons3nt from the landowners
of the tract annexed, and a copyof the Ordinance dispensing
with the election on the proposed annexation; and also the
City Recorder is authorized and directed to submit a copy of
this Ordinance to the County Assessor and County Surveyor of
Jackson County, Oregon.
The foregoing Ordinance was first read on the/f~(day of
