AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND WITHDRAWING CERTAIN
RECENTLY ANNEXED REAL PROPERTY FROM JACKSON COUNTY FIRE
DISTRICT NO. S [Ashland Hills Annexation No. 2).
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following described real property situated
in the City of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon, is hereby with-
drawn from Jackson County Fire District No. 5 pursuant to the
provisions of 0RS222.524. Said real property is described as
follows to wit:
The North half of Lot 10, Section 11, Township 39
South, Range 1 East, Willamette Meridian, Jackson
County, Oregon.
ALSO: All that portion of Lot 9, Section 11,
T'~ship 39 South, Range 1 East, Willamette
Meridian, Jackson County, Oregon, lying
Southerly of the County Road, running through
said lot.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the following: Beginning
at the Northwest corner of Lot 9, Section 11,
Township 39 South, Range 1 East, Willamette
Meridian, Jackson County, Oregon; thence South,
along the West line of said lot, 330.0 feet;
thence North 66°00' East, 262.30 feet, to the
center of the County Road; thence along said
road line, North 27°24' West, 136.0 feet;
thence North 41°43' West, 107,0 feet; thence
North 51°14~ West, 36.24 feet, to the North
line of said lot; thence West, along said North
line, 79,04 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. The City of Ashland elects pursuant to 0RS222.520(2)
to pay annually, as the bonds of Jackson County Fire District No. 5
(formerly the Talent Rural Fire Protection District) that were out-
standing on the effective date of this Ordinance, as the same pro-
portion of such outstanding bonds and interest thereon, as the
assessed valuation of that part withdrawn bears to the assessed valua-
tion of the entire district on the effective date of this ordinance.
