HomeMy WebLinkAbout2002ORDINANCE NO. ~ AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE RELATIVE TO SPEC- IAL LICENSE FEES AND DEFERRAL OF ASSESSMENTS; AND/~IENDING CERTAIN FEES. THE PBOPLE OF THE CITY 0F ASItLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 6 of Ordinance No. 937 and Section 6.20.060 of the Ashland Municipal Code, relative to Shooting Gallery License fees, are hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Ordinance No.~and Chapter 4.20 of the Ashland ~:uni- cipal Code relative to deferral of assessments for Senior Citizens are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. Section 9 of Ordinance No. 1453 and Section 15.32,090 of the Ashland Municipal Code relative to Mobile Home Licensing procedures are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. Section 8 of Ordinance No. 1433 and Section 1'5.32.080 of the Ashland Municipal Code relative to Variances for Mobile Home Stand- ards are hereby amended by amending subsections B and E thereof, to read as follows: "B. Application. The owner or his agent may make application by filing with the staff advisor to the Planning Commission. Such applications shall be accompanied by a legal description of the property, plans, and elevations necessary to show the proposed development, and a filing fee of eighty dollars ($80.00) no part of which is refundable." "B. Appeal. In case the applicant or others affected are not satisfied With the action of the commission, they may, within fifteen (15) days after the commis-ion action, appeal in writing to the Council. The application for appeal shall be accompanied by a filing fee of fifty dollars ($50.00), all but $10.00 of whic is refundable in the event the appeal is sustained, The Council shall consider the application in the same manner as provided in subsection B of this section." SECTION 5. ,-A new subsection D shall be addedto Section 52 of Ord- inance No. 1318~'and Section 17.32.020 of the Ashland Municipal Code relati~ tO subdivision variances, and shall read as follows: "D. The application shall be accompanied by a filing fee of eighty ($80.00), no part of which is refundable," SECTION 6. A new sentence shall be added to subsection B of Sec- tion 34 of Ordinance No. 1318 and Section 17.32.040 of the Ashland Muni- cipal Code relative to subdivision variance appeals, and shall read as follows: "The application for appeal shall be accompanied by a filing fee of fifty dollars ($50.00), all but $10.00 of which is fundable in.the event the appeal is sustained." SECTION 7. Ordinance No..~669 and Section 4.12.030 of the Ashland Municipal Code relative to lien search fees shall be amended to read as follows: "4.12.030 Fee -- Designated. Before any certificate of lien search shall 5e issued, there shall first be paid to the City Recorder, twelve dollars and fifty cents ($12.50) as a fee for making the llen search and for preparing the certificate. All fees collected under this section shall be deposited in the City general fund."
