AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.20 OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE WHICH
~.RELATES TO THE COmmUNITY HOSPITAL BOARD.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 2.20.010iis hereby amended to read as
follows:
"2.20.0!~ established - membership. There is established
in the City a board of nine (9) members and two (2) ex-
official members to be known as the Ashland Community
Hospital Board. Said voting members shall all be
residents of Ashland. No members of the Common Council
shall be appointed as a voting member. A member of the
Common Council and a member of the medical staff of the
Ashland Community Hospital shall be appointed as exofficial
members. All appointments shall be made by the Mayor
with the approval of the Common Council, except that the
exofficial member of the medical staff of the Ashland
Community Hospital shall be appointed by the Chief of
Staff of the Ashland Community Hospital."
The foregoing Ordinance was first read at a regular meeting
of the Common Council held on the ~ZA day of ~~ , 1979, and
passed to its second reading, and duly passed on the ~ day of
