A/q ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.20 OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE WHICH
RELATES TO THE COMJ4UNITY HOSPITAL BOARD.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2.20.020 is hereby amended to read as
"2.20.020 term, The term of the voting members of the Board
shall be for three (3) years except that the initial term
may be for less than three (3) years so that the term o[
three (3) members will expire each year. Any vacancy shall be
filled by appointment by the mayor with the approval of the
common council for the unexpired portion of the term, except
that the Chief of Staff of the hospital shall fill any
unexpired term of the medical ex officio staff member.
The foregoing Ordinance was first read at a regular meeting
of the Common Council held on the ~--~Aday of ~z.~z~., 1979, and
