A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR ASSESSMENTS FOR A PUBLIC PARK TO BE CHARGED AGAINST LOTS WITHIN THE RAILROAD PARK LOCAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT FORMED BY ORDINANCE 2963, TO BE INCLUDED IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT No. 66. THE CITY IS THE ONLY OWNER TO BE ASSESSED FOR THE RAILROAD PARK. THE CITY OF ASHLAND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The council having received proposed assessments to be charged against each lot within the RAILROAD PARK LOCAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT FORMED BY ORDINANCE 2963 orders that a public hearing be held to consider written objections to these assessments at 7:30 p.m., May 3, 1994, in the City of Ashland Council Chambers. SECTION 2. The council accepts the attached notice as personal delivery on the city. The city is the only owner of property to be assessed for the Railroad Park Local Assessment District. Golden, Mayor NOTICE Of PUBLIC HEARING TO HEAR OBJECTIONS TO PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS TO BE CHARGED AGAINST LOTS WITHIN THE RAILROAD PARK LOCAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT FORMED BY ORDINANCE 2963, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT No. 66. Please take notice that the Ashland City Council will hold a public hearing to consider written objections to the proposed assessments for the assessment district described above. The proposed assessment is for $197,195 and the property to be assessed is Lot 10 of the Railroad Park Subdivision which is owned by the City of Ashland. The public hearing will be held at: 7:30 p.m., May 3, 1994 Council Chamber 1175 East Main Street Ashland, Oregon 97520 The Ashland Municipal Code requires that any objections that are filed must be in writing and must state the specific grounds for the objection. Objections must be received by: 5:00 p.m., May 1, 1994, and may be delivered or mailed to the: City Administrator 20 East Main Street Ashland, Oregon 97520 Please note that assessments may be modified by the council and will be levied by the council after the hearing, will be charged against the property, and will be immediately payable in full or in installments (if applicable) following the levy.
