An ordinance authorizing the Mayor and City Recorder to
execute for and on behalf of the City of Ashland, Jackson County,
Oregon, a consent to the assignment by Gas-Ice Corporation, a
1~ashington corporation to the Small Business Administration
of that certain lease ~ated January 2, 1~2 by and between the
City of Ashland as lessor and Gas-Ice Corporation as lessee.
WHEREAS, the City of Ashland as lessor entered into a certain
lease dated January 2, 19~2 with G~s-lce Corporation as lessee
appertaining to the leasing of the heroinafter described property
in Jackson County, Oregon, and
WHEREAS, said lessee in order to secure a loan from the Small
Business Administration, an agency of the United States Go~rnment,
must assign for security purposes the aforementioned lease to said
Small Business Administration, and
IgHEREAS, the ~ayor and members of the Common Council have
reviewed the assignment, and
k~EAS, it is necessary for the Mayor and Recorder to execute
for and on behalf of the City of Ashland a consent to said assignment,
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Cosresort Council have no objection thereto
and believe it to be in the best interests that said consent to
assignment be approved,

direoted to execute that certain consent to assignment, a copy of
which is attached hereto, consenting to the assignment by Gas-Ice
Corporation to the Small Business Administration, its successors
and assigns, an agency of the United States Government, of that
