CITY OF ASHLAND
CONTRACT FOR THE DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE
ASHLAND WETLANDS DEMONSTRATION SYSTEM PROJECT
CES and the City agree:
The Contract for the Design, Construction and Operation of the Ashland Wetlands
Demonstration System Project (Contract) between the City of Ashland (City) and Cascade Earth
Sciences (CES), dated June 13, 1996 is amended as set forth below:
Introduction
This amendment is limited to additional time on the contract as originally written and agreed to,
and to additional costs for interim improvements as set forth in the scope of services described
below. All other provisions of the original contract remain the same.
Scope of Services
Contract Ending Date (paragraph 4) is hereby modified to June 30, 2000
Contract Amount (paragraph 9) is hereby modified to $476,223.00. The additional $17,750.00 is
a not to exceed amount authorized as compensation for interim costs for operation of the
demonstration wetlands through April 15, 2000. Costs include physical modifications to
the Free Water Surface (FWS) wetlands ponds, design changes and recommendations for
the Submerged Aquatic Vegetation (SAV) filters, general system maintenance, and project
management for this period of work as outlined in the letter of January 6, 2000. The
attached spreadsheet of costs and hours is a guide for this work.
This Amendment No. 3 to the Contract between the parties as listed below is accepted as of the
7th of MARCH, 2000.
