A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 79-55 AS
AMENDED, ADOPTING A PAY PLAN FOR MANAGEMENT AND
CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS, settlements have been reached with ~ of the City's labor
unions, which settlements average 4% in increased wages
and benefits; and
WHEREAS ,
it is the desire of the City to maintain its management
compensation plan at a level coLm~Lensurate with such
union settlements.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council as
follows:
SECTION 1. The salary schedule in Resolution No. 82-42 shall be
amended by 4% effective July 1, 1983.
SECTION 2. The salary schedule for Engineering Technician III
shall be increased by an additional 2.5% and the title changed
to Assistant City Engineer/City Surveyor.
SECTION 3. The salary schedule for the Ass't to City Administrator/
Personnel Director shall be adjusted to the same schedule as t~e
Supervising Accountant.
SECTION 4. The title of Electric Line Foreman shall be changed to
Electric Line Superintendent.
SECTION 5. Footnote (5) shall be amended to read "Plus $100 for
Assistant Fire Chief.
The foregoing Resolution was READ and DULY ADOPTED at a regular meet-
in~ of the CitY Council of the City of Ashland on the /g~day of
