Provided that the Oouno:Ll reserves the right to change, By ordinance, said
salaries, at ar~ time, and to re~ove any appointee a~ ~y tiae, without assigning
any reasons therefor.
Section 2.
That the salary above provided for the City Attorney s~ll be deemed to cover
.ll City imsiness, includir~ conmltation and preparation of ordinances, keeping to
date thc compilation of Ordinances, and all s~.its, actions, or prodnedings before
the County, Circuit of Supreme Courts; provided further that the City will reia-
burse said attorney for any actual expense incurred by hia in connectiom wi~h the
legal business of the City
Section 3.
That the persons holding the elective offices set forth belew, shall, during
the period of from July 1, 1~51, up to and including June ~ 1952, receive a month-
ly salary in a~ounts as indicated by the figures set opposite the titles of thesev-
eral offices az follows, to-wit:

Provided however, that the Council reserves the right to raise or low-ar said
salaries by ordinance at ar~ time.
Section 4.
That each City e~ployee, whether elective or appointive~ sh-ll perform, in
addition to the duties prescribed by the Charter, sneh further dnties incident to
hie or her office as shall be ~rescribed by his department superier, or the Mayor
and Common Council.
Section ~.
That the City Recorder is hereby authorized to pay the salaries ~e~tioned in
this ordinance upon the due performance of +~he services incident to the respective
offices and officers mentioned herein, without bills for said salaries being audited
