PERMANENT BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN EASEMENT FOR CITY OF ASHLAND
1. Grant of Easement. The above-named Grantor grants to the City of Ashland,
Oregon, "Grantee," a perpetual non-exclusive easement in gross to construct,
reconstruct, install, use, operate~ inspect, repair, maintain and remove and replace a
public pedestrian easement and sidewalk across, along and upon the real property
described below and further referred to in this easement agreement as the "easement
area."
The easement area is located in Jackson County, Oregon, and is described on the
attached Exhibit A.
2. Use of Surface. Grantor shall have the right to use the easement area for all
purposes not inconsistent with the uses and purposes of the easement area, provided
that Grantor shall not build or erect any structure upon the easement area without the
prior written consent of Grantee.
3. Prior Encumbrances. This easement is granted subject to all prior easements or
encumbrances of record.

PEDESTRIAN ACCESS EASEMENT
A parcel of land 1.0 feet in width adjacent to the west line of Wightman Street in
the City of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon being more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at a point 359.0 feet North and 30.0 feet West of the Southeast corner
of Donation Land Claim No. 39 in Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette
Meridian in Jackson County, Oregon; thence West parallel to the south line of said
claim, a distance of 1.00 feet; thence North parallel to the west line of W~ghtman Street
a distance of 85.0 feet to the south line of Quincy Street; thence East along said line
i .00 feet to the west line of VVightman Street; thence south along said line 85.0 feet to
the point of beginning.
