AND 14.08.030(A) OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATIVE TO WATER AND SEWER CONNECTION CHARGES.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2263 and Section 14.04.040
of the Ashland Municipal Code shall be amended to read:
"14.04.040 Water service connection rate schedule. Water
service connection charges within the City limits shall
be as follows:
When water main was provided by a subdivider pursuant to
Chapter 18.80, or by persons other than the City of Ashland:
3/4 inch service connection from main line $345.00
to an--d~ncluding meter.
1 inch service connection from main line to 430.00
an--~cluding meter.
1~ inch service connection from main line to 660.00
and including meter.
2 inch service connection from main line to 840.00
~ including meter.
3 inch service connection from main line to COST
an--~cluding meter.
in the event that the subdivider provides the excavation and
backfill of the service connection trench, the foregoing charges
shall be reduced by $155.00.
For properties outside the boundaries of a subdivision or a development
where the subdivider or developer has been required to install main
lines, the applicant for service shall pay to the City the above
service connection charges. In addition, if such connection is reques-
ted within ten (10) years of installation of said main lines, the
applicant shall pay a fee of $800.00 per lot to reimburse the
subdivider or developer for said main, which fee shall be paid over
by the City to the subdivider or developer.
B. Service connections to all other water mains:
3/4 inch service connection from main line to $1,310.00

1 inch service connection from main line to 1,400.00

including meter. $830 plus $10.05 per front foot.
2 inch service connection from main line to and
including meter. $1010 plus $10.05 per front foot.
3 inch and over service connection from main line

$10.05 per front foot.
SECTION 2. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2263 and Section 14.08.025
of the Ashland Municipal Code shall be amended to read:
"14.08.025 Sewer service connection rate schedule--Inside
City. Sewer service connection charges Within the City limits
shall be as follows:
When sewer trunk line is provided by subdivider pursuant
to Chapter 18.80 (outside of subdivisions only), or by
persons other than the City of Ashland:
4 inch lateral connection from trunk line to $260.00
~ curb line.
6 inch lateral connection from trunk line to 305.00
~ curb line.
8 inch lateral connection from trunk line to 335.00
normal curb line.
10 inch lateral connection from trunk line to COST
normal curb line.
For properties outside the boundaries of a subdivision or a develop-
ment where the subdivider or developer has been required to install
trunk lines, the applicant for service shall pay to the City the
above lateral connection charges. In addition, if such connection
is requested within ten (10) years of installation of said lines,
the applicant shall pay a fee of $510.00 to reimburse the subdivider
or developer.
B. Service connections to all other sewer trunk lines:
4 inch lateral connection from trunk line to
normal curb line.
6 inch lateral connection from trunk line to
normal curb line. $475.00 plus $6.40 per front
8 inch lateral connection from trunk line to
~ curb line. $505.00 plus $6.40 per front
10 inch lateral connection from trunk line to
norm--6~-~-~-l--curb line. Actual lateral cost plus
per front foot*.
*Add $345.00 if manhole is required.

A monthly sewer service surcharge o£ $1.25 is required {or
service connections to sewer trunk lines discharging into
a sewer lift station provided by the City.
SECTION 3. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2263 and Section 14.08.030(A)
of the Ashland Municipal Code shall be amended by changing the sum
in the second line thereof to read "$1,880.00".
