AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1774
WHICH PRESCRIBED THE WATER RATES IN THE
CITY OF ASHLAND.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby added to Ashland Ordinance.
No. 1774 two new "Water Rate Schedules" designated Schedule 10
and Schedule 11 and attached hereto and incorporated into this
Ordinance as though fully set forth herein, and they set forth
the "Water Service Connect Rates Within the City Limits", and
the "Water and Sewer Connect and Service Rates within Oak Knoll
Subdivision."

MATER AND SEWER DIVISION
Water Service Connect Rates Within the
City Limits
Effective July 1 , 1975
Application: These rates shall apply to all Water Service
Connects within the City Limits as are permitted under the
Regulations Governing Water Service.
RATES:
(When main is provided by subdivider.pursuant
to Ordinance No. 1318, and application for
service is made within 10 years of installation):

3/4 inch $215.00
1 inch 350.00
1/2 inches 425.00
2 inches 575.00
4 inches and over Cost
For properties outside the boundaries of a

pay to the City, an additional fee sufficient
to reimburse the subdivider on a pro-rata basis
for said main.
RATES: (Mains installed prior to the effective date of
this ordinance):
5/4 inch $515.00
1 inch 415.00
1 1/2 inches 525.00
2 inches 675.00
4 inches and over Cost + 100.00
RATES:
(Mains installed subsequent to the effective date
of this ordinance):
5/4 inch 565.00
1 inch 700.00
1/2 inches 775.00
2 inches 925.00
4 inches and over Cost + 550.00
A surcharge of $200.00 is required for service connect-
ions above the Talent Irrigation Ditch where booster
pumping has been provided by the City.

Water and Sewer Connect and Service Rates
Within Oak Knoll Subdivision
Effective Jul7 1 , 1973
Application: These rates shall apply to all Water and Sewer
Service Connects and Service Rates as are permitted under the
'Regulations Governing Water and Sewer Service.
Rates:
Connects:
Water and sewer connect charges shall be the same as
those charged when the main is provided by the subdivider,
except when new mains are extended by the City, in which
case the connect rates shall be the same as those for all
mains installed subsequent to the effective date of
this ordinance.
Mqnthly Service Charge:
Water service charges shall be as shown on Schedule 7,
Residential Water Rate Outside City Limits.
Sewer service charges shall be double those charged
for Inside City Limits.
