Home My WebLink About1984-27 Sewer Rate ScheduleRESOLUTION NO. 84-~ A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A SEWER RATE SCHEDULE PURSUANT TO SECTION 14.04.035 OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE. THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The "Sewer Rate Schedule" marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein are hereby adopted as the sewer rates for the use of the municipal sewer system within and without the city limits. SECTION 2. Three (3) copies of this Resolution and attached Sewer Rate Schedules, shall be maintained in the office of the City Recorder, and shall be available for public inspec- tion during business hours. SECTION 3. The rates adopted pursuant to this resolution shall be effective with water meter readings taken on or after June 1, 1984. The foregoing Resolution was READ and DULY ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Ashland on the /~-~J~day of ~ , 1984. Mayor EXHIBIT "A" SEWER RATE SCHEDULES City of Ashland, Oregon Resolution No. 84-~7 Adopted: ~z%/?-~gz Effective: June 1, 1984 Schedule 10 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER QUALITY DIVISION Residential Sewer Rates Within the City Limits Effective: June 1, 1984 Application: These rates shall apply to all residential services within the city limits as are permitted in Chapter 14.08 of the Ashland Municipal Code. Rates, per month: Single Family Residential Uses. The sewer user charge for single family dwellings and for condominiums (including planned unit developments and units initially constructed for individual ownership, or conversions from existing multiple family rental uses to individual ownerships) shall be $7.50 per month per unit. B. Multiple Family Residential Uses. 1. Apartments. The sewer user charge for multiple family dwellings uses shall be $6.00 per month per unit. Included in this category are all accounts established for permanent or semi-permanent rental housing for more than one family unit. This includes apartments and married student housing units. 2. Mobile Homes and Trailers. The sewer user charges for mobile home parks, trailer courts and individual mobile homes, shall be $6.00 per month per unit. 3. Institutional Uses. The charge for those residential facilities providing for communal sleeping arrangements such as dormitories, fraternities, sororities, and boarding houses shall be as set forth in Schedule 11 for commercial and institutional uses. Schedule 11 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER QUALITY DIVISION Commercial and Institutional Sewer Rates Within the City Limits Effective: June 1, 1984 Application: These rates shall apply to all commercial and institutional sewer services within the city limits as are permitted in Chapter 14.08 of the Ashland Municipal Code. Rates, per month: 1. The sewer user charges for commercial and institutional uses shall be $7.50 per month per business or facility plus $.60 per 100 cubic feet of the current month's water consump- tion in excess of 1,000 cu. ft. 2. Notwithstanding the above, for accounts where more than a fifty percent discrepancy can be demonstrated between the amount of water consumption and the amount of water entering the sanitary sewers, the sewer user charge may be adjusted by the City Administrator accordingly. 3. In addition to the above charges, service stations and businesses providing sanitary dumps for recreational vehicles, shall be charged $16.50 monthly. Schedule 12 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER QUALITY DIVISION Industrial Sewer Rates Within the City Limits Effective: 2une 1, 1984 Application: This rate shall apply to all industrial sewer services within the city limits as are permitted in Chapter 14.08 of the Ashland Municipal Code. Rates, per month: 1. For purposes of this Schedule, industrial uses shall be those set forth in Sec. 35.905-18 of the Federal Register, Vol. 38, No. 98. 2. %ne monthly sewer user charges for industrial accounts shall be as calculated in accordance with Sec. 35.935-13 of the Federal Register, Vol. 38, No. 98. 3. In addition to the monthly sewer user charges for industrial users set forth above, the City shall enter into an agreement with each industrial user for the recovery of capital costs as set forth in Sec. 35.938 of the Federal Register, Vol. 38, No. 98. Schedule 13 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER QUALITY DIVISION Multiple or Mixed Use Sewer Rates Within the Effective: June 1, 1984 City Limits Application: This rate shall apply to sewer accounts involving multiple or mixed uses on a single connection to the sewer system. Rates, per month: For sewer accounts involving multiple or mixed uses on a single connection to the sanitary sewer system, the monthly sewer user charge shall be the total of the several user charges for each business or activity computed separately. Schedule 14 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER QUALITY DIVISION Ail Sewer Rates Outside the City Limits Effective: June !, 1984 Application: This rate shall apply to all sewer users outside the city limits as are permitted under Section 14.08.030 of the Ashland Municipal Code, or which existed as customers of the City upon the effective date of this Schedule. Rates, per month: The monthly sewer service charge shall be two (2) times the rate set forth for sewer system users within the city limits.
