AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 2128 AND
AMENDING SECTION 14.04.030 OF THE ASHLAND
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATIVE TO WATER RATE SCHEDULES.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 2128 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. Section 14.04.030 of the Ashland Municipal Code shall
be amended to read as follows:
"14.04.030 Water Rate Schedules. The water rate
schedules shall be established by Resolution of the
City Council, three (3) copies of which shall be
maintained in the office of the City Recorder and
shall set forth the water rates for use and sale of
water within and without the City Limits from the
municipal water system."
SECTION 3. In order that the rate provisions of the foregoing
ordinance may be effective with water meter readings taken on
or after August 18, 1982, it is hereby declared that an emergency
exists, and this ordinance shall be effective upon its passage
by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the J~ day of
