Home My WebLink About1982-49 Water Rate Schedule SO UTION NO. A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A WATER RATE SCHEDULE PURSUANT TO SECTION 14.04.030 OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE. THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The "Water Rate Schedules" marked "Exhibit A" attached hereto and incorporated herein are hereby adopted as the water rates for use and sale of water within and without the City Limits from the municipal water system. SECTION 2. Three (3) copies of this resolution and attached Water Rate Schedules shall be maintained in the office of the Recorder and shall be available for public inspection during business hours. Gordon Medaris Mayor "EXHIBIT A" WATER RATE SCHEDULES CITY OF ASHLAND, OREGON Ordinance No. Adopted: August 17, 1982 Effective: August 18, 1982 Schedule 1 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER AND SEWER DIVISION Residential Water Rate Within the City Limits Effective August 18, 1982 Application: This rate shall apply to all single family residential services within the City limits as are permitted under the Regulations Governing Water Service. This rate also included units initially constructed for individual ownerships (condominiums, or planned unit developments), or conversions from existing multiple family uses to individual ownerships. Rates, per month: A. Minimum Charge: Service Size Minimum Charge A - 3/4 Inch $7.00 B - 1 " 12.00 C - 1~" 20.00 D - 2 " 30.00 B. Basic Charge: The basic monthly service charge for all customers shall be $5.00. C. Consumption Charge: The charge for all water consumed shall be calculated at 60¢ per 100 cubic feet of water used. In condominiums or planned unit developments which are master metered, the total water consumed in a billing period shall be apportioned equally among the active accounts during said billing period. D. Booster Pumping Charge: A surcharge of $3.60 per month is required for service connections for electric energy where booster pumping is provided by the City. Schedule 2 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER AND SEWER DIVISION Commercial Water Rate Within the City Limits Effective: August 18, 1982 Application: This rate shall apply to all Commercial and Industrial services within the City limits as are now permitted under the Regulations Governing Water Service. Rates, per month: A. Minimum Charge: Service Size Minimum Monthly Charge A - 3/4 Inch $8.00 B - 1 " 14.00 C - 1~" 23.00 D - 2 " 35.00 E - 3" 60.00 F - 4 " 100.00 G - 6" 275.00 H - 8" 485.OO Where a water service of 4" or larger also serves a private fire protection system, the foregoing minimum charges shall be twenty-five percent (25%) of the above. B. Basic Charge: The basic monthly service charge for all customers shall be $5. oo. C. Consumption Charge: First 10,000 cu. ft. of water @60¢ per 100 cu. ft. Next 40,000 cu. ft. of water @55¢ per 100 cu. ft. Next 200,000 cu. ft. of water @50¢ per 100 cu. ft. Excess over 250,000 cu. ft. @45¢ per 100 cu. ft. Schedule 3 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER AND SEWER DIVISION TID Irrisation Water Rate Within the City Limits Effective: August 18, 1982 Application: This rate the City Limits as are permitted under Water Service. Rate: A. shall apply to all TID Irrigation service within the Regulations Governing Unmetered $25.00 per acre, or portion of acre, irrigation season. Metered The rate per month shall be as follows: Service Size All per yearly Minimum charge for 5,000 cu. ft. or fraction thereof $25.00 Any amount in excess of the minimum charge shall be calculated 10¢/100 cu. ft. Schedule 4 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER AND SEWER DIVISION Fire Protection Service Water Rate Within the City Limits Effective: August 18, 1982 Application: This rate shall apply to all Fire Protection Services within the City Limits as are permitted under the Regulations Governing Water Service. Rate: Service Size Charge/Month All $5.00 In the event that water from a private fire system is used for fire suppression, such water shall not be billed as domestic consumption, but the billing for an average month shall be used in lieu thereof. Schedule 5 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER AND SEWER DIVISION Bulk Water Rate Within the City Limits Effective: August 18, 1982 Application: This rate shall apply to all Bulk Water Service within the City Limits as is permitted under the Regulations Governing Water Service. Rate: $35.00 for the first 500 cubic feet. Excess to be calculated at the same rate as provided for coLLm~ercial-industrial water service inside the City limits. A deposit of $100.00 shall be made as guarantee that City meter, valve, and wrench will be returned in undamaged condition and that water bill has been paid. Schedule 6 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER AND SEWER DIVISION Residential Water Rate Outside the City Limits Effective: August 18, 1982 Application: This rate shall apply to all Residential services outside of the City Limits. as are permitted under the Regulations Governing Water Service. Rate: The rate shall be one and one-half (1%) times the rate set forth in Schedule 1, "Residential Water Rate Within the City Limits", and shall apply to the minimum charge as well as the block rate. Schedule 7 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER AND SEWER DIVISION Coum~ercial Water Rate Outside of City Limits Effective: August 18, 1982 Application: This rate shall apply to all Commercial Services outside of the City Limits as are permitted under the Regulations Governing Water Service. Rate: The rate shall be one and one-half (1~) times the rate set forth in Schedule 2, "Commercial and Industrial Water Rate Within the City Limits", and shall apply to the minimum charge as well as the block rate.
