CONTRACT FOR PERSONAL SERVICES LESS THAN $25,000

("Consultant").
Recitals:
A. On June23, 2000, City and Consultant entered into a "City of Ashland Contract for
Personal Services Less Than $15,000" (further referred to in this addendum as "the
agreement").
B. The parties desire to amend the agreement to specify the date of completion and to
increase the maximum compensation to be paid.
City and Consultant agree to amend the agreement in the following manner:
1. The date for completion, which was unspecified in the agreement, shall be no later
than June 30, 2001.
2. The compensation to be paid shall be at the rates attached to the agreement. The
total compensation to be paid under the agreement shall not exceed $75,000.
3. Except as modified above the terms of the agreement shall remain in full force and
effect.

COMPENSATION
Our fees for plan review services are based on 75% of the plan revi~v fccs for the expected
two rounds of review. These fees are calculated using the "actual construction valuation".
Once a budget is ~stablished, we typically bill for our services in terms of "percentage of
completion". 70% of om fee will be collected upon completion of the first review and the
remaining 30% of our fee will be collected at thc completion of the second review,
Additional services required beyond the second review will be billed at our hourly billing
rates noted below:
