Congratulations. The Ashland City Council approved your appointment to the Historic
Commission for a term ending April 30, 2004 at its regular meeting on April 17, 2001.
The Historic Commission typically meets on the Wednesday before the second Tuesday at 7:30
p.m. in the Commmfity Center. Cameron Hanson is the council liaison, and Mark Knox and
Sonja Akerman are the staff liaisons for this commission. Mark or Sonja will contact you
shortly. The next meeting of the Historic Cornmission will take place on May 2.
Enclosed is a list of Historic Commission members. Also enclosed is a memo fi.om the City
Recorder and relevant information for new members, You ]nay also receive other information
pertinent to this commission from the staff liaison by separate mail.
We appreciate your willingness to serve our community on this important commission.
