A RESOLUTION SCHEDULING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR MAY 4, 1971,
AT 8:00 P.M., AT WHICH TIME THE QUESTION OF CHANGING THE
NAME OF PEACHEY ROAD BETWEEN WALKER AND PlNECREST TERRACE
TO PINECREST TERRACE SHALL BE CONSIDERED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF ASHLAND, as follows:
SECTION 1. The Planning Commission of the City of
Ashland, having recommended to the City Council that the
name of Peachey Road between Walker and Pinecrest Terrace
be changed to Pinecrest Terrace. It is therefore ordered
that a public hearing be scheduled before the City Council
on May 4, 1971, at 8:00 p.m., at which time the general public
and all persons particularly interested in this question
shall have the opportunity to be present and to speak on
this question.
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordered that a public
notice of the aforementioned public hearing be published
in the Ashland Daily Tidings during the week immediately
preceeding May 4, 1971.
The foregoing Resolution was duly passed under a
suspension of the rules at a regular meeting of the Common
Council held on the 6th of April, 1971, the vote being
as follows:
