WHEREAS, on the 21st day of May, 1968, the CITY OF ASHLAND,
a municipal corporation of the State of Oregon as Lessor and the
ASHLAND PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION as Lessee entered into a
Lease of a tract of land comprising approximately sixty-six (66)
acres known as the "Lithia Springs Tract" and which is more particularly
described on Exhibit "A" hereto which is hereby incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, said parties desire to renew said lease for a
period of ten (10) years;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby acknowledged and agreed by
and between Lessor and Lessee that the above described lease covering
the land described in Exhibit "A" hereto is hereby renewed for a period
of ten (10) years to cover that period starting as of June 1, 1978 and
expiring on May 31, 1988; said renewal to be upon the same terms and
conditions as set forth in said lease.
IN WITNESS THEREOF the parties have placed their hands and

Willamette Meridian -n jackson County, Oregon; thence
North, along said we- -,t line, 462.0 feet to the northwest
corner of said Lot Eight. (8); thence East, along the north
line of said Lot Eight (8), a distance of 1-1161.4 feet to
the northwest corner of Lot Nine (9) in Section 7, Township
39 South, Range 2 East of the Willamette Meridian in Js.ckson
County, Oregon, the point of beginning.
