HomeMy WebLinkAbout1997-08 Trans. Utility RateRESOLUTION NO. 97- tr)g A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A TRANSPORTATION UTILITY RATE SCHEDULE PURSUANT TO SECTION 4.26.020 OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE. THE CITY OF ASHLAND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The "Transportation Utility Rate Schedule," marked "Exhibit A" and attached to this Resolution, is adopted as the transportation user fees. SECTION 2. The rates adopted on "Exhibit A" shall be increased annually on July 1st, based on the Engineering News Record Construction Cost Index (ENR). The initial ENR is established at 5596.94. The rate increases adopted by this resolution are to be used for the Arterial Steet Assistance Account. The City Administrator will provide the City Council with a review of the rate structure by July 1, 2001. SECTION 3. Three copies of this Resolution and "Exhibit A" shall be maintained in the office of the City Recorder and shall be available for public inspection during regular business hours. SECTION 4. The rates adopted pursuant to this Resolution shall be effective on or after April 1, 1997. SECTION 5. Resolution 96-29 is repealed on the effective date of this Resolution. SECTION 6. The fees imposed by this Resolution are classified as not subject to the limits of Section 1 lb of Article XI of the Oregon Constitution (Ballot Measure No. 5).
