AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND
WITHDRAWING CERTAIN RECENTLY ANNEXED
REAL PROPERTY FROM JACKSON COUNTY
FIRE DISTRICT NO. 5. (Industrial Park
Annexation)
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The real property described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof and situated in the
City of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon, is hereby withdrawn
from Jackson County Fire District No. 5 pursuant to the pro-
visions of ORS 222.524:
SECTION 2. The City of Ashland elects pursuant to
ORS 222.520(2), to pay annually, as the bonds of Jackson County
Fire District No. 5 that were outstanding on the effective date
of this Ordinance, as the same proportion of such outstanding
bonds and interest thereon, as the assessed valuation of that
part withdrawn bears to the assessed valuation of the entire
district on the effective date of this Ordinance.
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the 15th day
of February, 1983, and duly PASSED and ADOPTED this ~YJ~' day of
