AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND AMENDING
CHAPTER 14.16 OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE WITH
RESPECT TO ELECTRIC RATE SCHEDULES.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Sections 14.16.025 through 14.16.050 inclusive and
Section 14.16.090 are hereby deleted from the Ashland Municipal
Code, and shall be replaced with a new Section 14.16.030, which
shall read as follows:
"14.16.030 Electric Rate Schedules. The electric rate schedu-
les shall be established by Resolution of the City Council,
three (3) copies of which shall be maintained in the office
of the City Recorder, and shall set forth the electric rates
for use and sale of electric energy and services within and
without the City Limits from the municipal electric system."
SECTION 2. Effective date. This ordinance shall be effective with
electric meter readings taken on or after May 31, 1983 and shall
include energy consumption for a period of approximately thirty
(30) days prior to the meter reading date.
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the ~j~_z~.~ day of
