AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ASHLAND MUNICIPAL
ORDINANCE 18.50.130 WHICH WAS SUBSEQUENTLY
RENUMBERED AS ASHLAND MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE
18.96.140, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the Council Of the City of Ashland on September 29,
1982 endeavored to repeal Ashland Municipal Ordinance B18.96.140,
and
WHEREAS, a question has been raised as to whether in
fact such Ordinance was effectively repealed.
NOW THEREFORE, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 18.50.130 of the Ashland Municipal Code
which was renumbered is hereby repealed in its entirety.
SECTION 2. Section 18.96.140 of the Ashland Municipal Code
is hereby repealed in its entirety.
SECTION 3. Emergency Clause
It is hereby adjudged and declared that the existing
conditions are such that this Ordinance is necessary for the
preservation of the public health and safety of the people of
the City of Ashland and that an emergency is hereby declared
to exist and this Ordinance shall take effect and b~ in full
force and effect from and after its ad6pt{on by the City Council
and approval by the Mayor.
The foregoing Ordinance was first read on the /9 ~ day of
