HomeMy WebLinkAbout2003-24 Amending Pay ScheduleRESOLUTION NO. ~ 00 ~- ~ c~ A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE PAY SCHEDULE FOR MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2003-2004, RECITALS: 1. The City desires to maintain a salary schedule that is competitive yet is fiscally prudent. . The wage adjustment for three City labor unions with existing contracts for fiscal year 2003/2004 is 3.2% and the increase in the Consumer Price Index has averaged 1.9% during the last year (March to March). 3. The adopted budget for Fiscal Year 2003/2004 anticipates a 3.0 percent cost of living adjustment for Management/Supervisory and Confidential employees. THE CITY OF ASHLAND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The pay schedule is hereby modified by 2.0 percent for Management, Mid-Management/Supervisory and Confidential employees effective July 1,2003. SECTION 2. The salary of the Municipal Judge and the City Recorder shall be adjusted by 2.2 percent, which is the weighted average of the adjustments made for Department Heads and Supervisors. SECTION 3. This resolution takes effect upon signing by the Mayor. This resolution was read by title only in accordance with Asl'jl.and Municipal Code Sec. 2~SS DE and ADOPTED this /7 dayof ,~,2003.
